Basic Life Support & AED
3 Hour Course

This 3 hour course is suitable for anyone who wishes to learn how to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and use an AED effectively.  With fewer than 10% of all the people in whom a resuscitation attempt is made outside of a hospital surviving, early CPR and early Defibrillation increases this to greater than 50%.

It is particularly suited to those working in Social and Healthcare settings, with the NHS recommending all are trained as a minimum in BLS.  This includes individuals working in nursing homes, clinical workplaces and dental surgeries.

This is a non-qualification course and does not meet the HSE or DoE requirements for First Aid at Work (FAW), Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), Paediatric First Aid (PFA) or Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) qualified first aiders.

We are able to deliver this course on site at your place of work or at a venue of your choice.
