1. Parties
The terms 'Green Turtle First Aid', 'us', 'we' or 'the Company' refers to the owner of the website.
The ‘Trainer’ means the qualified trainer/assessor who will deliver the course.
The terms 'you', 'the Customer' or ‘the Client’ refers to the user or viewer of this website.
‘Candidate’ or ‘Attendee’ means any person attending a course delivered by Green Turtle First Aid.
2. Definition
‘Venue’ means the room(s) where the First Aid course will take place.
‘Open Course’ or ‘Public Course’ means any First Aid Course that has been organised on a date, and at a venue, chosen by Green Turtle First Aid. Open and Public courses can be attended by a Candidate for whom the booking process has been completed.
‘Onsite Course’ means any First Aid Course that has been organised on a date, and at a venue, chosen by the client, and agreed by Green Turtle First Aid.
3. Terms
All use and bookings made directly with Green Turtle First Aid or via this website are governed by these Terms and Conditions at any time. Please check prior to each use or booking as all information is subject to change without notice at any time.
By using the Services, you are agreeing to all the Terms of Service, as may be updated by us from time to time. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms of Service.
Access to this Website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Services without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts or all of this Website.
4. Privacy Policy
Our privacy policy, which sets out how we will use your information, can be found on our privacy policy page. By using this Website, you consent to the processing described therein and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
5. Disclaimer
Schedules, Trainers and prices of classes and/or products are subject to change without notice. Please always check our website for the most current information.
6. Bookings and Payment for Onsite Courses
6.1 Bookings can be made via email to info@greenturtlefirstaid.co.uk. Once a course date has been agreed, the booking will only be confirmed once the payment has been made in full. The Company will accept orders if they are in writing on a properly constituted order from the Customer. Verbal enquiries and orders are accepted only on the condition that the Company receives written confirmation from the Customer within 48 hours of the verbal order or enquiry.
6.2 All payments should be made within 48 hours from when the invoice has been sent, or the next working day if the due date falls on the weekend. If the course date is scheduled within 14 days, then payment must be made within 24 hours from when the invoice has been sent, or the next working day if the due date falls on the weekend. Payment can be made via BACS where the details will be stated on the invoice provided or via a secure payment link. The monies received shall be treated as a final confirmation of the class booked and you will hold that time and date as requested.
6.3 The Customer must confirm that the Venue they have selected for an Onsite course is suitable for the course to be run. As a minimum requirement the Venue the training will take place in must be a safe, quiet environment conforming to current and relevant Health and Safety legislation and have adequate ventilation. The Venue will be free from trip hazards. There must be at least one electrical socket available. There must be an appropriate television screen available for the Trainer to connect a laptop to, or an appropriate projector screen to project onto. There must be access to simple catering and toilet facilities. The Trainer and each Attendee must have a chair to sit on. The floor space must be large enough for the Attendees to sit in comfort and also be able to carry out group exercises on the floor. The floor will be clean. There will be adequate parking. If there is any doubt about the suitability of the Customer’s chosen venue, please discuss this when making enquiries.
6.4 Green Turtle First Aid reserves the right to cancel a course if the Venue chosen by the Customer for an onsite course is unsuitable. No refund will be made in such circumstances.
6.5 Booking the Venue of an on-site course is the responsibility of the Customer.
6.6 The Customer will be required to reimburse any additional charges outside of the course cost, such as Congestion Charge and/or Parking Fees (excluding fines) that may be associated with travel to their venue. Green Turtle First Aid will send a copy of any relevant receipts along with an invoice as a form of proof of purchase. This must be paid by the Customer within 14 days of the invoice being sent. If costs are known prior, then the cost will be added to the invoice sent at the booking stage.
7. Transfers and Cancellations - Onsite Courses
7.1 An Onsite Course date may be transferred or cancelled.
If transferred:

More than 14 days prior to course start date, no fees apply

Less than 14 days prior to course start, an administrative fee of 25% of the course fee will be incurred
In the event of full cancellation:

More than 28 days prior to course start date, a full refund will be given

More than 14 days prior to course start date, a fee of 25% of the course fee will apply with a 75% refund given

More than 7 days prior to course start date, a fee of 50% of the course fee will apply with a 50% refund given

Less than 7 days prior to the course start date, no refund will be given.
7.2 Refunds are not available in whole or in part for courses missed due to late arrival, illness, accident, or for any other cause outside the control of Green Turtle First Aid.
7.3 A Candidate who misses any part of the course, for whatever reason, will not get certificated as having completed the course, and will not be entitled to any refund.
7.4 If a cancellation is required because Green Turtle First Aid cannot deliver the course for whatever reason, and have been unable to arrange a substitute Trainer, then a full refund will be provided to the Customer. No other liability can be accepted.
8. Bookings and Payment for Open Courses
8.1 Bookings for our publicised Open Courses can be made via email to info@greenturtlefirstaid.co.uk. The booking will only be confirmed once the payment has been made in full.
8.2 All payments should be made within 48 hours from when the invoice has been sent. If the course date is scheduled within 14 days, then payment must be made within 24 hours from when the invoice has been sent. Payment can be made via BACS where the details will be stated on the invoice provided or via a secure payment link. The monies received shall be treated as a final confirmation of the class booked and you will hold that time and date as requested.
9. Transfers and Cancellations — Open Courses
9.1 In the event a Candidate chooses to transfer to another course or cancels their booking more than 14 days before the start date of the course, a full refund will be given. If the booking is within 14 days of the start date of the course an administration fee of 50% of the full course fee will be incurred.
9.2 Green Turtle First Aid reserves the right to cancel Open Courses at any time. In the instance of cancellation due to our own decision, a free transference to the next available course will be available or a full refund will be provided to the Candidate.
9.3 Refunds are not available in whole or in part for Open Courses missed due to late arrival, illness, accident, or for any other cause outside the control of Green Turtle First Aid.

9.5 If a cancellation is required because Green Turtle First Aid cannot deliver the course for whatever reason, and have been unable to arrange a substitute trainer, then a full refund will be provided to the Candidate. No other liability can be accepted.
10. Course Timings & Fitness to Attend
10.1 Candidates must adhere to timings as mentioned on the course confirmation. Failure to attend part of the course will result in the Candidate’s removal of their final examination (where applicable).
10.2 If an Attendee arrives late or is absent from any part of the course, Green Turtle First Aid reserves the right to refuse to accept the attendee for training, if it decides in its sole discretion that the attendee will gain insufficient knowledge or skills in the time remaining. In such cases, the full course fee remains payable. To conform with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Department of Education (DoE) requirements of statutory certificates, attendance at all sessions is mandatory.
10.3 To meet the certification requirements all Candidates must be assessed whilst performing practical elements of the course, some of which will require a Candidate to kneel on the floor. Candidates must ensure that they are able to physically fulfil these practical requirements. All Candidates must have a fluent enough level of spoken and written English in order to be able to understand the teaching and undertake written examinations.
10.4 Candidates attending the course are requested to bring ID with them such as driving licence, passport, works photo ID.
11. Certificates
The initial issue of an e-certificate is included within the course fee and will be sent via email. Attendees can request a hard copy of their certificate for an additional cost of £15.00 per certificate.
Any errors on the certificate must be notified to Green Turtle First Aid via email within 28 days of the date of issue of the certificate.
12. Force Majeure
Green Turtle First Aid cannot be held accountable for any incident or occurrence outside its control that affects the provision of any given course date, course forecast, course content or course timing, and/or including cancellation, amendment or rescheduling. Where a course content or course timing must be amended/cancelled/rescheduled, Green Turtle First Aid will make every reasonable effort to make alternative arrangements.
13. Right of Admission
Green Turtle First Aid and the Trainer reserves the right to refuse admission to any Candidate who is exhibiting unruly or anti-social behaviour to either its staff or other attendees. In any such incident will result in the automatic and immediate removal of the offending Candidate. No refund will be given.

16. Intellectual Property, Software and Content
The intellectual property rights in all software and content (including photographic images) made available to you on or through this Website remains the property of greenuturtlefirstaid.co.uk or its licensors and are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved by greenturtlefirstaid.co.uk and its licensors. You may store, print and display the content supplied solely for your own personal use.
You are not permitted to publish, manipulate, distribute or otherwise reproduce, in any format, any of the content or copies of the content supplied to you or which appears on this Website nor may you use any such content in connection with any business or commercial enterprise.

Having made every effort to ensure the correctness of this website, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies.
When making your booking it is implied and accepted that you have read and understood all these terms & conditions and agree to abide by them.
